Community Executive
Afternoon all,

We've recently done a revamp with our staff team on who does what, and what guidelines our staff members are expected to follow. We choose to share this with the community as either you might be curious what we hold our staff members accountable to, or maybe you're interested in applying, but want to know what you're getting into first.

Staff Rank Descriptions:
Community Director:
The Community Director is responsible for the entire network. They are in charge of the developers, managing the backend, frontend, finances, and pretty much everything.

Community Executive(s):
Community Executive(s) are responsible for overseeing all community and staff team operations and decisions. This group of people will ensure that the community and staff team runs smoothly, efficiently, and most importantly, professionally. While their main priority is to uphold superb activity and supervise the community/staff team, these people will also be expected to maintain direct communication with the Director.

Community Administrator(s):
Community Administrator(s) will serve as the backbone for moderation. Their primary focus is to guide their fellow staff members to their success in their position. These people are expected to uphold superb activity and be able to communicate with the Community Executives about any situations that they come across.

Community Moderator(s):
Community Moderator(s) are the front-line personnel within the community. These people are expected to uphold superb activity; moderate with professionalism, efficiency, integrity, and honesty; and most importantly, help those who need assistance within the community.

Trainee(s):
Trainees are the prospects of the Community Moderators. While these people are expected to be very active within the community, their main objective is to learn all aspects of moderation. By working hand-in-hand with a mentor, they will be able to identify their learning needs, set learning objectives, and reflect on their performance and development as a learner. At the end of their trainee phase (if they have met all the necessary requirements), they will be able to take on the Community Moderator position.

Misconduct Offences:
Severity One Offences

Offence
Description
Example
Incorrect
Correct
Failure to Conduct Staff Sit
It is absolutely critical to conduct a sit before punishing a player on the server. Punishing a player without conducting a staff sit is improper and unacceptable.
Player1 is roleplaying, but others think he’s FailRPing because he’s throwing molotovs. Everyone reports him.
Staff: “Well, since everyone is reporting him, I'm just gonna punish him without talking to him!”
Staff: **pulls player in staff sit and has a discussion about the reports and what rule he is violating.**
Command Misusage
Invalid use of staff related commands has the potential of displeasing and disturbing members and your fellow staff members. Being that all of your actions are logged, please act responsible and conscientious.
1) Staff Trolling
2) Accidently punishing the incorrect ID multiple times.

Makes sure there is a / at the beginning of the command and typing in the correct Server ID.
Multi-Punishing
It is imperative that you do not punish one person more than once during one staff sit.
You pull a player into a staff sit and you talk with him. You then proceed to give him a warning. However, after you give him the warning, he breaks another rule during your staff sit.
Staff: “OH REALLY? NOW YOU’RE BANNED!!”
Staff: **talks with the person again, and gets a hold of someone who can edit the reasoning of the last punishment you had given.**
Requesting Promotion
You are placed in a position depending on how well you perform/act in your role as a staff member. We attempt to fairly promote people who we feel deserve it the most. Asking for a promotion makes you look desperate and questions your overall maturity.
No example needed.
Teleporting Misusage
Teleporting to a certain location and/or other players for no reason is not necessary. This offense is in direct violation of the Community Guidelines as it is completely unrealistic.

Noclipping to a certain location and/or other players for no reason is not necessary. This offense is in direct violation of the Community Guidelines as it is completely unrealistic.

Staff Voice Channels
You can only have up to TWO Non-Staff Members in a Staff VC. If you have more than TWO, create a private channel, or move to a channel open to the public.
No example needed.
Ignoring Players
Ignoring Players’ reports and/or their requests for help in chat purposefully displays unprofessionalism and ignorance. Do your best to attend to all reports and/or requests, even if that means that you have to wait until the end of your roleplay situation.
Player1: “HELP STAFF HELP!”
Staff: *quiet*
Player2: “Hey staff, I need some help. Could you message me?”
Staff: **messages Player2, and continues to ignore Player1**

Player1: “HELP STAFF HELP”
Staff: **messages player1**
Player2: “Hey staff, I need some help. Could you message me?”
Staff: **messages player2**

Misleading Fellow Staff Members
Providing incorrect information on purpose in an attempt to alter the outcome of a certain event and/or to get a result that is beneficial to yourself demonstrates your avarice. It shows not only your selfishness, but your incapability to work with a team as a team player.

(NOTE: This is false information!)

Player 1: “How do you apply for staff?”
Staff: *Proceeds to send the wrong link*

Player 1: “How do you apply for stuff?”
